MONSON FINANCE COMMITTEE                                                                                           NOVEMBER 26, 2012

The meeting was convened at 6:32pm

Association of Town Finance Committee notice to receive new revised edition of The Finance Committee Handbook on CD.  Ms. Payette will request three copies for FinCom.
Letter dated October 25, 2012 from Dr. Patrice Dardenne, Superintendent of Schools. Letter officially notify the town that the School Committee voted at last nights meeting to officially request that the Town consider funding the School Department by an additional $75,000 beyond the next school requirements.
Request for Transfer From the Reserve Fund dated November 26, 2012.
Amount requested: $425.00
Appropriation Account: Emergency Management Expenses
Present balance in account: 0
To pay the cost of food used to prepare meals for the first responders during Hurricane Sandy.
Ms. Edwards made a motion to Transfer $425.00 from the Reserve Fund to the Emergency Management Expenses Account; Mr. Fimognari SECONDED, all voted YES.

Finance Committee members voted on Articles 13 & 14:

Transfer and appropriate $34,500. Ms. Edwards made a motion; Mr. Fimognari SECONDED, all voted YES.
Article 14
Transfer and appropriate $15,000. Ms. Edwards made a motion; Mr. Fimognari SECONDED, all voted YES.
